Joint Awareness Warfighter-Space (JAWS) is intelligent-agent based software that provides decision support to ensure integrated space situational awareness, furnishing the soldier in the field with fast, accurate decision-making capabilities. JAWS intelligent agents correlate missile, space, air, and intelligence information against mission objectives and provide automated recommendations to support space force enhancement, space control operations, and deliberate/crisis planning. For example, JAWS alerts operators to terrestrial and space weather events, satellite communications outages, and periods of high or low GPS accuracy and suggests alternatives for minimizing adverse impacts. The open-architecture readily accepts new data feeds and provides functional interfaces with Army and Air Force space situational awareness tools.
