21CSI has incubated and fielded its proprietary agent-based decision support technology, known as the AEDGE® intelligent software platform, which allows for rapid development of individual "decision intelligence" applications. AEDGE technology, while widely used in military applications, was itself not developed for any specific military use, but as a commercial product that allowed 21CSI to quickly and efficiently develop a wide variety of software applications for both civic and military purposes. For more than a decade, 21CSI's AEDGE software toolkit has been continuously improved to stay current with the latest technology and has grown to a suite of tools ranging from web-based application infrastructure to 2D/3D visualization components for desktop, web, or mobile devices. AEDGE's versatility makes it ideally suited for the development of variety of commercial applications.
