21CSI Announces SentinelNet 4.0

21st Century Systems, Inc. (21CS) a leading provider of software and technical solutions for integrated maritime and port security applications, announced today that it has released SentinelNet 4.0. This is the latest release in a series of consumer market applications completing another key step in the company's strategic plan to leverage its highly versatile software technology. Long known for creating intelligent decision-making software systems for the Federal government, 21CSI has aggressively pursued commercial markets as a way to diversify and expand its technical reach.

SentinelNet version 4.0 delivers a complete solution for maritime domain awareness through the integration of security and surveillance related sensor networks. This significant solution adds cutting-edge technology to address the current gaps in port security at both large and small ports and harbors.

"We're very excited to release version 4.0. We believe it will have a significant impact in the commercial marketplace through increased cost savings and filling existing capability gaps in port and harbor security" says Jeffrey D. Hicks, Chairman and CEO of 21CSI.

SentinelNet 4.0 builds upon the proven earlier versions of the port software currently being used by the U.S. Navy and tailors the software to meet the demands of commercial maritime ports and harbors. This product is the result of well over 120,000 man hours of dedicated development and testing.

SentinelNet performs as a "systems of systems" to fuse relevant data from individual sensors and disparate sensor networks into actionable information. Although the types of sensors that can be integrated are unlimited, they usually include: Cameras, Radars, Sonar, AIS data, Access Control Systems, Mass Notification, and Radio Frequency (RF) finding equipment.
